. Guideline requirements for each course are listed below. Mature students with other experience rather than formal qualifications are very welcome to apply. We operate an open access policy that takes account of technical abilities, work experience and life skills. Certificate Courses No formal qualification are required though a cluster of Standard Grades at grade 3 or above would assist your progression onto the HN courses. Higher National Certificate Courses 1 or 2 Higher Grades at C or above, or successful completion of the Forestry/Conservation Skills Certificate programme, or a minimum of 1 year’s pre-course experience in a woodland environment. Higher National Diploma Courses 2 Highers at grade C or
above, one preferably in English, or successful completion of Higher National
Certificate in Forestry/Arboriculture & Urban Forestry, or successful
completion of an equivalent programme. BSc Sustainable
Minimum of 3 Higher Grades at C or above plus appropriate Standard Grades, or successful completion of the HND in Forestry/Arboriculture & Urban Forestry or an acceptable equivalent programme. |
